In honor of Thanksgiving, it’s Turkey Week at Boatbookings.com. Turkey as in Blue Cruises, Gulets, Bodrum, Fethiye, Gocek, Marmaris, Aegean Sea! If you have never been on a Gulet or a Blue Cruise, it’s a charter experience not to be missed.
If you’re not familiar with a Gulets, they were originally wooden fishing boats used in Southern Turkey. The Turks have always been expert boat builders, and have evolved these boats from spartan fishing boats into luxury sailing yachts with private cabins, ensuite bathrooms, huge sunning decks and all of the amenities. They are perfect yachts for a relaxing sail around the alluring and historical ports of Southern Turkey
We have a great Guide to Gulet Chater to get you in the mood – and there are “early bird” discounts up to 15% available if you book before the end of the year.

It’s common during the process of chartering a yacht to want to do a side by side comparison of several yachts to make sure you know the basic specifications of the yachts (cabins, length, beam, heads, etc.) and their amenities, such as which ones have air conditioning, scuba gear or internet. We have a great new feature where you can now select the yachts you’re most interested in chartering, view all of their features side by side, and then send brochures or make enquiries on all of them. It’s a called “My Yachts” and is simple to use on the Boatbookings.com site – just click on “Add to My Yachts” when you’re viewing a boat, and it will show up in the left navigation bar so you can easily find it.
We love technology when it makes yacht charter easier!

Amazing Corsica charter itineraries include dramatic rock formations and cliffs, quaint ports with excellent food and markets, gorgeous sandy beaches with stunning mountains as a backdrop, and wild, unspoiled coastline. And of course Corsica, being French, has amazing cuisine and local produce such as it’s storied wines and cheeses.

SILVER ANGEL is a 64.5 Metre, 14 Passenger Benetti newly launched in 2009. She was designed by Argent Design of London together with Stefano Natucci. She is not subtle or sober, but neither is she ostentatious in the traditional way. She is totally deco in style, and every detail is a modern take on this theme. She is almost entirely grey, silver and black, with hints either side towards purple and auburn.
The most defining feature is the abundance of Lalique throughout, including table lamps radiating a soft magical light among the shiny silver silk and satin, the lacquered cabinets and fur throws. Lalique also features on the wall lights, the door handles and bathroom taps, as well as the bathroom accessories made to match. She is very luxurious indeed, with exquisite fabrics and furnishings and an abundance of plump cushions in every size and shade.
On the top deck there is a golf machine dispensing biodegradable golf balls used when the yacht is under way, and floating balls for when she is at anchor, so the Crew can gather them up for future use! There is a pool on the fore deck, depicting the Silver Angel herself, where guests can properly swim against a power jet. She has all the toys you would expect as well as fishing equipment and diving gear. She will not be for everyone, because of the sheer formality of her luxury. She is not a family yacht, but for corporate or private luxury, she is rather special!

SHERAKHAN is the most extraordinary Dutch owned charter yacht! She is 228 feet long (70 Metres) and offers 13 cabins so she can carry a much larger party than most charter yachts.
Do not be fooled by her sober exterior… When you first enter, the main dining area is a vast open room surrounded by an oval balcony, and the overall volume feels immense. The table is also laid lengthways, and together with the elaborate and slightly funky décor, it calls to mind a fairytale or the mad-hatter’s banquet! She is wildly eclectic, a bizarre and fabulous mixture of 1970s kitsch, solid Dutch pragmatism, dark woods and heavy drapes, mixed with silvery balls of glass hanging from on high.
The master is vast with his and hers bathrooms with quaint Victoriana bath tubs and a separate shower room. To add to the experience, the entire length of the deck on every level is convex, as it was built, so you feel you’ve entered the Golden age and ended up in Wonderland! It is a most fantastic and unusual place, perfect for a party or a charter with more adventurous guests who would appreciate her bohemian nature!
Other strong points include a large lower level spa, with mosaic floors, with fluorescent lighting emanating from the bath tub and basins, and a mosaic mermaid on the rear wall. Another key point is that she can sleep up to 26 guests, making her ideal for special family occasions and corporate charters.

LEO FUN is a 2009 6 cabin Proteskan Turquiose launched 2009 and a big hit at the Monaco Yacht Show this year. LEO FUN is a luxurious 43 Meter Motor Yacht that has been styled and designed by Paolo Caliari. Jean Guy Verges designed the sophisticated and luxurious interior.
She definitely was one of the stars from this year’s Show. What sets this yacht apart is her supreme elegance, but very much a masculine elegance, like a top hotel in Milan.
She is defined by the use of texture more than colour, mostly dressed in chocolate and coffee and fudge and vanilla, with an array of different tones to the materials and finishes creating an overall feeling of total class and quality.
She feels utterly luxurious; every corner is beautifully rounded, every cabinet and fixture making reference to the main theme of geometric patterning in the carpentry and wall coverings. She has a distinctly Italian feel, with sublime style and attention to every aesthetic detail. She is spacious and uncluttered, and is a fabulous addition to the charter market.
LEO FUN also has a cleverly designed exterior, a sleek silhouette with lots of open deck space on every level. She of course offers entertainment systems throughout the yacht, and all the water toys you could wish for.
See all the deatals on Luxury Motor Yacht LEO FUN.
